This will be short today. Dad and I were invited down to my brother and his wife's home in North Bend for Thanksgiving. It was a long ride by bus (6 hours), but we arrived yesterday and will stay through Friday.
Brother Wade and his wife Ellen will be joining us today. They are driving over from Nevada.
It will be the first time the three of us kids have been together since 1992.
Wish mom was here to enjoy the gathering. There was nothing she appreciated or loved more than family.
But we should be thankful on Thanksgiving. I am. I am thankful that we still have dad with us.
